Solstice Outreach, winner of the 2023 Presidents Buckeye Accelerator grant, is hosting a free STEM outreach community event in partnership with the COSI Science Festival!
At this event, we will have interactive planetarium shows, science demos, meteorites, and space-related arts & crafts, as well as board games, giant Jenga, cornhole, and more. This year, we’re bringing new demos and meteorites, and introducing new presenters in the Solstice Outreach portable planetarium — we’d love for you to join us!
Most activities are geared toward elementary and middle school students and families, but older students (high school, college) are encouraged to come too! The planetarium, meteorites, and games are for all ages. Members of the Astronomical Society at The Ohio State University and the founding team of Solstice Outreach, will be available during the event to discuss careers in space science.
